Yes. Making GIFs, MP4s and MP3s is free with no sign-up. Exports carry a small GifLab mark; you can remove it for free by creating a CT Lab account with your email.

Do you upload my video?

No. Everything happens in your browser on your own device. Your video never reaches our servers.

Which video formats can I use?

MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG and ProRes. Formats your browser can't play natively are decoded inside the page.

How do I make a GIF smaller?

Use Easy mode and pick a target size, or lower the width and frame rate in Advanced mode. Fit to size squeezes a GIF under limits like Discord's 8 MB or 25 MB.
