Creator Tools Lab is built by people who actually do the work — editing, shooting, delivering. We make desktop software that fixes the real pains of the craft, starting with the ones we hit ourselves: fast, focused, and genuinely pleasant to use.
Editing software keeps getting bigger and heavier — while the actual grunt work stays exactly as tedious as it was ten years ago. Syncing footage. Recovering a corrupt card. Cutting a two-hour podcast down to the good bits.
Our answer is the opposite of a bloated suite: one tool per problem. Each "Lab" does a single job extremely well, opens instantly, and gets out of your way. No feature you'll never use, no account wall, no bloat.
Your footage is processed on your computer and never uploaded — no servers holding your work hostage. We keep the little data we do collect to a minimum. Faster, and private by default.
A tool should do one thing brilliantly. We'd rather ship a sharp, fast app than a giant suite of half-finished features.
Clear about what a tool does and doesn't do. No dark patterns, no surprise charges, no holding features ransom.
SyncLab is our first tool — born from a pain we kept hitting ourselves: syncing big multi-camera shoots by hand. Drop hours of footage from every camera plus a master track, and it lines everything up automatically (slow-motion included) into a ready-to-edit timeline for DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro. It's in closed beta right now.
More focused tools are in the works. We're building them quietly, testing them with real editors, and shipping when they're genuinely good — not before.
Creator Tools Lab is a small, independent studio. We edit, we shoot, and we got tired of the busywork — so we started automating it. If that sounds like your kind of software, try the beta or say hello.
