Our tools give you a lot of creative power. This policy covers what you may and may not do with Creator Tools Lab software and our free web tools — so they stay useful, lawful, and safe for everyone.
Last updated: June 26, 2026
Our web tools (such as GifLab) run entirely in your browser: your media is processed locally on your device and is not uploaded to us. We don't receive, host, store, or distribute the output you create with them. You are the sole creator and publisher of anything you make, and you are solely responsible for it and for how you use it.
Only use our tools on content you own or are otherwise authorised to use. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights, licences, and permissions for any footage, audio, images, or other material you process or create.
You may not use our software or tools to create, process, or distribute:
To report misuse, email abuse@ctlab.app. Because our web tools process media locally and we do not host user output, we generally never see what users create. For anything we do host or display, we may review and remove it at our discretion, but we are not obligated to monitor. Where the law requires it, we report applicable material (for example, CSAM to NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement.
We may remove content we host and restrict or terminate access to our software and services, at our sole discretion, with or without notice. We have no duty to monitor use, and any enforcement (or lack of it) does not waive our rights.
Our software, tools, and site are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Creator Tools Lab will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, footage, profits, or time, arising from your use of (or inability to use) our software, tools, or site.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Creator Tools Lab from any claims, damages, or costs arising out of your content, your use or misuse of our tools, or your breach of this policy or our Terms of Use.
This policy is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update this policy over time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
